C.I.P. Citizens in Power is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization from Cyprus, which addresses the needs and demands of people through their involvement in social and civic life. The organization has built its expertise by providing countless educational material and free trainings related to a variety of fields, such as technology and innovation, (online) education, inclusion, business and entrepreneurship, culture, arts, labor. Its primary goal is to foster the development of both formal and non-formal education, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning in Cyprus and abroad, with the help of its ever-expanding network of collaborators (leading European universities, schools, NGOs, research centers, professional trainers, and education experts both in Cyprus and Europe).
Accept LGBTI Cyprus is a volunteer-led non-profit organisation, overseen by an eight-member board, and in operation since 2009. It was officially registered in September 2011, aiming to protect, assert and promote the fundamental rights of Cyprus’ LGBTIQ+ people, including vulnerable and intersectional groups. Currently, it is the only registered LGBTI organisation in the Republic of Cyprus, with 500+ registered members, 300 active members, and some 24,000 followers across its channels.
Accept’s actions are focused on two main areas: promoting and raising awareness of the LGBTI community in Cypriot society, and advocating for LGBTI-inclusive Cyprus legislation.
STICHTING ART.1 is an Amsterdam-based organisation working in international cooperatiom projects on human development, democartic participationa and human rights through the arts. Stichting art.1 has a proven track record in working transnationally on implementing artivism methodologies in European projects and different parts of the world, enabling young artists to express themselves through the arts. Furthermore, art.1 provides a platform for under represented voices through visibility campaigns, public presentations, exhibitions and the organising of festivals and community events.
he activities of the non-profit Asociación Caminos, founded in 2014, are dedicated to the field of education and social work. Main objectives include fostering exchange and communication, improving individual opportunities of development, supporting the social inclusion of targets at risk, and developing innovative methodologies in the field of training, education and social development through national and international cooperation. Caminos staff has long-standing experience in youth work, labour market interventions, and provision of trainings with experience-based and empowerment methodologies.
UNESCO Youth Club of Thessaloniki is a non-profit, non-govermental organization founded in 2004 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The organization promotes education, human rights, sustainable development, science, and culture, focusing on youth empowerment and participation. It fosters non-formal education, SDG awareness, and social inclusion through events, partnerships, and over 70 European mobility projects, engaging 500+ youth in multicultural learning. Aditionally, it is a key partner in promoting the UN Youth Strategy 2030 in Greece. The Youth Club advocates for cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue, and local SDG actions, hosting workshops and forums to address climate change, gender equality, human rights and community resilience, while enhancing youth involvement in decision-making processes.
